So, a lot of the top get-paid-to websites out there really aren’t globally available, but ySense is different. ySense is a globally friendly GPT site, and it lets you earn free cash and gift cards for completing a wide variety of tasks. But is ySense legit or is it a scam, and should you sign up for this global GPT website or not? Well, I signed up for it, I tested it out, and this ySense review is covering how it works, all of the different earning options, and also one critical mistake I made that really messed up my account that you should probably avoid if you decide to try it out. So, let’s get to it.
How Does ySense Work?
Alright, so just kicking things off, what exactly is ySense? Well, ySense, like I mentioned, is a global GPT website. It used to be called ClickSense, and it’s basically just your stock standard GPT website that rewards you for completing paid surveys, watching videos, downloading offers, playing games for money, and other similar tasks.
Now, ySense is completely free to sign up for; you just need your email address to get started. And one thing I wanted to note is it’s actually owned by Prodege, which is the same company that owns massive sites like Swagbucks and Inbox Dollars, so it’s by no means an obscure or no-name GPT site.
What struck me as really cool about ySense is that it’s pretty much available in every single country. So, a lot of the top GPT sites might only be available in North America or certain European countries, but ySense is pretty much available everywhere. Once you sign up, you can again make money with those kind of traditional GPT style offers like answering surveys, watching videos, downloading apps, playing games, and much, much more.
Earning Potential
How Much Does ySense Pay?
How much does ySense pay, and what should you expect in terms of earning potential with this GPT website? Let me just start off by saying how much you make with ySense really depends on the types of offers you go for and really how much effort you put in, kind of like any other GPT site out there.
I mean, the surveys on ySense honestly aren’t that great, at least not for me. I mean, most of the ones on my dashboard pay about 10 cents to a couple of dollars or more, but it really wasn’t the highest-paying survey site that I found. However, some of ySense‘s other earning options are a lot more lucrative and a bit better. For example, it has a ton of different download offers and a pretty robust offer wall with partners like Ad Send, Review Lud, and its own in-house offers.
And again, some of these gaming offers are pretty lucrative. Like in my ySense account, some of the gaming ones pay between $2 and $5 if you complete them. Now, the catch here is again, a lot of these gaming or download offers that ySense has, you have to reach a certain in-game level or complete some kind of achievement with the app you’re downloading, so it’s not like instant cash, and some of these might even require spending a bit of your own money to complete.
But overall, ySense really has come a long way, and it’s really ramped up the variety of offers it has. In fact, the website’s actually gone through a redesign recently. I remember using this thing back in college and testing it out then, and it was ugly; like it was one of the ugliest-looking GPT sites. It had an awful user interface, but it’s really rebranded recently, it looks a lot better and cleaner, and again, it has pretty much tons of different offers from really major offer wall partners. So, it’s kind of now at the level of like a Prize Rebel or Free Cash, and it’s become a lot more competitive.
Finally, another thing I like about ySense is it has a recurring referral program, so you can earn 20% commissions from what your referrals make, which is also pretty cool, as well as a small signup bonus. So, again, overall, you’re probably earning a couple of dollars per hour at most with this site, but some of those download and gaming offers are more lucrative, which is always nice to see.
Cashing Out
How Do You Redeem Your Rewards?
How do you redeem your rewards with ySense, and how do you actually reap the benefits of using this site? Well, just starting off, one thing to note is that your cash-out minimum really depends on the country you’re in, but it’s generally $10 equivalent. So for me, I signed up with ySense when I was living in Australia briefly, and I have a $10 cash-out minimum.
For most rewards, you can redeem dozens of different gift cards. So you can redeem ones like Amazon, Best Buy, eBay, Target, Starbucks, and Walmart gift cards. PayPal and Skrill payments are also available, although one massive downside of ySense, at least in the country I’m in right now, is that it takes $10 to cash out through PayPal. A lot of the top GPT sites out there let you cash out with PayPal at just $3 or $5, a few even have a $1 redemption minimum, so the $10 cash-out minimum is really, really bad, and that’s one massive downside of ySense. But again, overall, the rewards and the cash-out minimums really depend on where you live, so I can’t kind of just give a blanket statement here. But generally, it’s about $10 worth of points to cash out any kind of reward, and then PayPal and Skrill are a bit higher.
My ySense Mistake
What Went Wrong with My Account?
I want to segue really quickly into my mistake with using ySense and why I haven’t been able to cash out with this website, and a mistake you guys need to avoid as well. So, I’ve actually earned over $100 with ySense by completing some surveys and referring some people from thisonlineworld.com, but I can’t cash out, and my account is basically locked.
And so the reason is I signed up when I was living in Australia for a few months, and now that I want to cash out, it’s asking me to verify my Australian phone number, which I don’t have. ySense also doesn’t let you change your country once you create your account, so if you create an account in one country and you ever move or you create your account in the wrong country accidentally, you can never change it. And you need to verify with a phone number from that country if you ever want to cash out.
So my account is, you know, basically locked unless I get an Australian phone number, so that kind of sucks, and that was my mistake, but I wanted to point it out.
ySense Payment Proof
Since I couldn’t cash out with ySense, I did some digging because I did want to find some kind of payment proof for other reviews use, just so you guys know what to expect. And I stumbled on a really useful thread on Reddit, and so as you can see in this thread, someone made more than $500 since joining ySense a couple of months ago. Another user made $250 in 3 months. Someone else made about $200 in a month just from game tasks and from different surveys.
So overall, ySense seems pretty popular. Again, people like that it’s globally friendly, and you can find plenty of payment proof online. I’m sorry I couldn’t cash out with this one, but again, it’s legit, it does pay people, and it’s pretty highly rated.
Pros & Cons
Pros
- One of the main pros of using this site is just that it’s globally friendly, and pretty much anyone can sign up, which is really hard to find these days.
- The second pro I want to mention is just its new site. It got a massive facelift, it’s a lot better to use now, and I really like what they’ve done with the platform.
- The third pro I want to mention is just the decent variety of offers. I mean, there’s gaming, download, watching ads, surveys, there’s all kinds of classic GPT offers out there, and I think ySense really does stay in line with the best of them.
Cons
- The first one just has to be that high cash-out minimum. I mean, $10 for free gift cards is alright, but $10 for PayPal is honestly really, really bad, and it’s the thing I dislike the most about ySense.
- The second con I want to mention is just that some of those higher-paying offers likely require spending money. So sure, a gaming offer might look great, it might say, “Oh, you can make a hundred bucks,” but you might have to spend a little bit of money if you actually want to complete the offer.
- The third con I want to mention is just this cash-out system. I really dislike when GPT sites try to get you to verify your identity or your phone number or stuff like that. And again, if they really have to verify you, sure, I understand, but it’s just frustrating now that I’ve locked myself into this Australian account, I can’t change my phone number or change my country of residence and actually cash out. So, that’s another small con I’d say.
Conclusion
So, what’s the overall scam or legit score for ySense on this one? Well, I’m going to give it a 4.5 out of 5. Really, I think the fact that ySense is globally available is its main selling point. I think it’s a competitive, decent GPT site, and the fact that pretty much anyone can sign up is really its main selling point.
I do wish the survey rates were a bit higher. I think they’re kind of lackluster, and again, I wish PayPal cash was available at $5 or $3, not $10. But again, it’s a pretty decent and popular survey site and GPT site, and that’s for good reason.
