It’s honestly been a long time since I’ve done this kind of digital nomad vlog. The last time I did one was in Dubai. So, I’m in Tulum right now, and I figured I’d do another day in the life vlog so you guys can learn more about me, what I’m up to, and what it’s like to blog, work remotely, and travel.
Tulum is an exciting place! We have a lot of fun stuff coming up:
- Visiting cenotes
- Enjoying the beach
- Checking out one of those famous Tulum jungle gyms
- Exploring the area
- Showing you what a workday looks like as a blogger on the road

Airbnb Tour: My Digital Nomad Base
A Tour of the Airbnb
Time for a good old-fashioned Airbnb tour!
Right now, I’m on the balcony, and honestly, this place is amazing:
- A beautiful seating area
- A small cactus garden
- A relaxing pool
- Plenty of cushions to chill
This Airbnb is a great spot to stay in Tulum while exploring the area. Let’s go downstairs and check out the rest of the place.
- Kitchen – Fully stocked with everything we need
- Bathroom – Small but nice
- Bedroom – Cozy with a private balcony
- Hammock – Perfect for relaxing with coffee in the morning
This place is perfect for a digital nomad, and I’m excited to stay here for a few days.
Exploring Tulum: Fitness, Beaches & Adventure
Tulum Jungle Gym: A Unique Workout Spot

Tulum is known for its outdoor jungle gyms, and I couldn’t resist checking one out. It’s a crazy setup with wooden weights and a natural, outdoor vibe.

We also took a moment to soak in some stunning views at a panoramic hotel.
Visiting the Mayan Ruins
Morning, guys! It’s the second day in Tulum, and today is all about adventure.
We have a packed schedule:
- Exploring the famous Mayan ruins
- Swimming in cenotes (natural cave pools)
- Grabbing dinner in town
Tulum’s beaches are incredible, and I’m excited to explore more before getting back to work on Monday.

Cenotes are natural pools formed in caves, and swimming in them is an amazing experience. The water is super refreshing (cold!), and the scenery is just unreal.
Working Remotely in Playa Del Carmen
Back to Work: Blogging & Client Projects
Hey guys, so it’s Wednesday morning, and I just got back from Tulum. Now I’m in Playa Del Carmen, and it’s time to get back to work.
A Typical Workday as a Digital Nomad
A day in the life of a remote worker looks something like this:
- Head to a café – Get some fresh coffee and start the day
- Editing an article for a client
- Video editing – Creating new content
- Writing a new blog post for This Online World
The Wi-Fi here is a bit spotty, but we make it work.
A Look Inside the Workspace
We have a cool little workspace setup here:
- Ben’s work area – He’s scripting new content
- Marcus – Writing about the most famous programmers
- Me – Editing blog posts and doing some recruiting work
It’s a pretty productive setup, but there’s always time to explore after work.
Tackling More Blog Posts & Planning Future Content
I just finished a little recruiting project for one of my clients and wrapped up an article edit. The blog has been growing, so I’m trying to publish even more content.
Today’s plan:
- Finish another This Online World post
- Edit some video content
- Maybe hit the gym or an outdoor workout area

This weekend was a great mix of:

✔️ Getting back to remote work in Playa
