The methods in this video can pay thousands of dollars in either cash or free products, and one of the ideas I’m covering in this video—and some inside looks I’m going to share—are paying me tens of thousands of dollars per year just by reading reviews! 1. G Reviews
So, the first way you can potentially write reviews for money is to use a website called G crowd or G.
G Review Platform Overview
G is a popular software review website that helps people decide which software is best for them. It has thousands of reviews for consumer and B2B software alike. The team at G is pretty clever and realizes that getting people who have used software to write reviews is a great way to create valuable content and rank on Google.
What G does is often email its members and say, “Hey, if you’ve used this certain piece of software, we’ll pay you with a free gift card if you write a short review for us.”
How I Earned Free Gift Cards
I earned a $25 Amazon gift card for writing a review of Partner Stack, an affiliate management platform I use for my blog. It took about 10 minutes, and I got the $25 gift card sent to me electronically.
So if you work in marketing, accounting, HR, or any field that uses a lot of software, I definitely recommend signing up for G. Other websites, like Capterra, also offer similar opportunities.
Just keep in mind that a lot of the reviews normally pay around $10. I got $25 because Partner Stack was really trying to get reviews quickly. But again, it’s free money, and it only takes a couple of minutes.
2. Amazon Vine
The second way you can make money writing reviews is to become an Amazon Vine member.
What is Amazon Vine?
Amazon Vine is an invitation-only program that rewards insightful and objective Amazon reviewers with free products in exchange for their reviews. In other words, this is a program where you can get lots of free merchandise in exchange for reviewing it on Amazon.
Why Brands Give Out Free Products
The reason brands give out free products to Amazon Vine reviewers is that they want feedback in reviews so they can rank on Amazon and improve their products.
Amazon Vine members get some really cool stuff, like laptops, cameras, drones, and even gear worth hundreds or thousands of dollars. Sometimes, you’ll receive food, toys, games, or clothing, too.
How to Become a Vine Member
The main downside of this program is that it’s invitation-only. To get invited, the best way is to write reviews regularly, take photos, be objective, and give lots of valuable information. Amazon might pick you to become a Vine member if they like your reviews.
3. Niche Blogs
The third method to make money by writing reviews is by starting a niche review blog.
Why Niche Review Blogs Work
This is by far my favorite idea and the most lucrative. It’s made me tens of thousands, even hundreds of thousands of dollars! The whole idea is to write reviews about a specific niche of products or services.
For example, I run thisonlineworld.com and review money-making apps, gigs, and hustles. Once you create a review and get traffic to it, you can make money through affiliate marketing, display ads, or both.

I want to share some personal examples of how this works. My lifetime Mediaite earnings are over $50,000 since December 2021. Some of my top-performing articles have earned me great revenue, such as a DoorDash review that made nearly $5,000 in revenue.

Here are a few platforms to check out:
- Product Review Jobs – Pays you for reviewing products and you often get to keep them.
- Try Products – Very similar to Product Review Jobs, offering the same types of opportunities.
- Pinch Me – Sends you free samples like snacks or cleaning products, and you provide feedback.
These are just some examples, but there are many product testing gigs out there. Look for them online or search company websites.
5. Freelance Writing
The fifth and final way to make money writing reviews is to become a freelance writer.
Why Freelance Writing Works
This is a faster route to income than blogging and can be incredibly lucrative. Many companies are willing to pay talented freelance writers to create review content about different niches.
