2025-2026 Football Kits: The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly – Ranking Top Teams’ Jerseys”

Introduction

Alright gentlemen, it is time of the year again where we look at the new kits of your beloved teams to determine who is on the right track, who completely failed and horrible, and who was simply..meh. Thanks to the FIFA Club World Cup we already got used at the new kits of some teams, and there is so much more that you most likely did not yet see. Any of them (or all of them, as we shall talk about today) may be good enough substitutes.

And don not forget: whatever you like, can be found on goal.shop and delivered to your door wherever you might be.

These are 2023-2024 to be: the good, the bad and the ugly.

Real Madrid

Home Kit

Real Madrid is the first. Naturally they cannot do much with their home kits since it will always come out white, but they succeeded in getting a rather swanky touch, in terms of design and texture. It is otherwise a decent kit with the yellow accents making it a bit more appealing.

Away Kit

The away strip is rather bland however. That was on purpose though. The jersey was created in honor of great Santiago Bernab@euw nights. The silver decorations refer to the metal exterior of the famous stadium.

The kits of Real Madrid are safe in the actual sense as the club used the same patterns, though we say it is good.

Tottenham Hotspur

Home Kit

To another team in white you see- Spurs! Honestly speaking, their home kit is extremely dull. We are not loving having the club and Nike logos right in the middle.

Away Kit

But away kit? Now that put us in our seats! And that makes this colder, you know. The message with which they launched the kit: in darkness we dare which is again a reference to the club motto to dare is to do.

Spurs decided to celebrate with the big Champions League nights by switching to this rather sleek looking kit and to be honest, we like it. Really good!

Paris Saint-Germain (PSG)

Home Kit

Talking of the Champions League, the current defending champions have also rendered to us something very nice. The home jersey of PSG is naturally blue, however, they are toying with lattice inspired design that honors the architecture of the city of Paris. This one we adore.

Away Kit

The white away kit is not bad either but the home jersey kills it on us altogether. O, very well!

Juventus

Home Kit

Juventus has another very good one. And they were definitely going to get a black and white stripe home jersey so they really did not have much to work with but boy did they make something out of this. The detailing in pink completely does us in. It yellow-izes the jersey and makes it very colorful.

Away Kit

However, just when we had fallen in love with the home kit we gazed our eyes on the away kit and boy, did that blow us away! I am fabulous over this aquamarine and blue graphic having stripes in yellow! This one here is a jersey that you can wear with pride to a date and rest assured that it will make your girl fall in love with you even more.

Very good? Nah, this is excellent!

Bayern Munich

Home Kit

And now comes another European giant but before we discuss them, in case you, you are not already subscribed to the channel, please do that now so you can never miss out on our amazing content.

Done? Ok, now let us speak about Bayern Munich. Seriously that home jersey, what is Adidas doing. And here is one such dull kit. We understand they were attempting to stylize an M in the center of the kit to reference the city of Munich, but still a no here.

Away Kit

Bayer Leverkusen

Still in Germany, Bayer Leverkusen really served us something amazing this time around. The home kit is so sleek, modern, and dark in a vibrant way. The one-time Bundesliga champions teamed up with New Balance for this one, and they definitely made the right choice because this was really, really good!

Atlético Madrid

Home Kit

Atlfte now with Atlctic Madrid, we feel like their home jersey was almost perfect, but the false collar is totally off. There is no collar on the jersey it seems initially, but upon closer inspection, one sees that it is was not made with a collar, it simply looks that way, hence the illusion of one. And we aren t quite sure about that.

Away Kit

Away jersey, that, however, is interesting. It is navy blue with lightning bolts on the sides that shows honor to Thunderstruck, the song played at every match at the Wanda Metropolitano.

To us, it was the away kit which came to the rescue and in that, we will say a good one to AtlEtico Madrid.

AC Milan

Their home jersey is all outright flames! It really is a shame we won’t be seeing this t-shirt within the big European sport within the 12 months. They went bold with this jersey, breaking out of the multi-colour badge for the first time in the clubs history, to pefer to have a monochrome crest.

AC Milan? Yeah this is great!

Arsenal

Home Kit

Then comes Arsenal. The home kit is quite neat, stylish and in fact has been designed wonderfully well. The neck, the sleeve, the texture, yep; this kits like trophies, like trophies.

Away Kit

The away jersey is bit of a risk, but could easily have gone wrong but we like it. Seeing it about Riccardo Calafiori completely won us, it is a wonder. Inn all seriousness any would of looked good on that boy.

Ajax

Home Kit

And here we cannot write a such article without mentioning Ajax. Their home kit is dedicated to the 125 th anniversary of the city of Amsterdam. The jersey is the first to have carried the traditional crest since the club announced that it was making a come back.

Whether it is the texture, color schemes, and all the rest, this is a kit that had caught our interest. And so yeah, it is good.

Away Kit

But the alternative jersey? Umm…not great. It’s meant to be a tribute to the water features in this great city, and good luck to them we say but the sad fact is that is just not a pretty kit to the eye of. So, the travel jersey?? Okay, so bad.

Chelsea

Home Kit

Suppose now we revert to London, and see what the kit is like at Chelsea. The kit of the house is just and so nice simple. It is by far a significant improvement to what they released last year.

Without having a sponsor, this kit appears all the sweeter and so you may want to think fast and get one of your own before they strike a deal with a shirt sponsor.

Away Kit

Its away collection is extremely attractive as well. The red and green vertical stripes that run down the middle of this kit complete it as the club and Nike logos on both sides make it appear super fashionable. We even fear that a shirt sponsor can make a wreckage of this lovely design.

This again is another shirt that you can definitely use a date. Oh, so good! Nike did a good job!

Liverpool

However, although the latter has not changed, Liverpool chose to change its partner and switch to the previously long-term Adidas company. The home, away and third are all rather plain and rather retro. It is something you gaze at and right away you begin to remember the days of Steven Gerrard when legends lived.

It is certainly good!

Manchester United

Home Kit

Adidas has also ensured not to complicate it much with Man United. The home jersey is a dedication to the iconic stadium, Old Trafford and certain things were there that added the touch of stylishness towards the jersey that could be required. The v-neck collar, the ends of the sleeves, the line of black that stretched across the top to the bottom of the shirt, the three black Adidas lines along the sides of the shoulders and the words theatre of dreams that were placed at the back of the collar. O yes we do like this one.

Away Kit

The away jersey is also coming out clean but we are touched by such third kit that appears to be sending us back into the good old days of Eric Cantona.

In this nice kit, hopefully, the club can get back to the glories. Heck, this is good.

Manchester City

They are still in Manchester, whilst the kit of Man City appears to be simply…meh. The sash on the home and away kits simply just aren not working. I don t think the kits are outright bad though they are not extremely exciting.

We will categorize as bad the kits, however, they are not nasty.

Barcelona

Home Kit

Now we should discuss Barcelona. It is a nifty home jersey. The color gradation of the colors is quite thrilling, the cuffs of the sleeves are clean and the texture appears to be nice. Yeah so we will say that the home kit is good.

Away and Third Kits

The away and third kits though, uhm, no not really. Ugly! perhaps they will grow on us, however, at first appearance.

Other Teams

Rangers

Now let’s quickly touch on Rangers we were really moved when we saw there home kit. It’ complaints adult, extravagent – and we really fancy it! Definitely good!

Celtic

Celtic’s kit is nice too. Good feel, horizontal clean white stripe, good sleeve cuff and great collar. All in all a more than decent jersey.

Newcastle United

Newcastle did patterned serrated edges to the usual stripes and the line of blue lining was at the top to bottom. It has a new feel to the home uniform but the travel jersey.
